The North Carolina Legislature recently passed a resolution that allows real estate schools to submit prelicensing and post-licensing online education courses to the commission on July 1, 2020. As of July 1st, North Carolina is allowing the submission of distance licensing education – get your school ready now!

This 75-hour, online course is designed to satisfy the prelicensing education requirement in North Carolina. The course includes the latest North Carolina information along with the rules and regulations of the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

    1. Assumed name and registration required
    2. Policy & Procedures Disclosure
    3. School performance Bond required
    4. Education Director must be identified
    5. Fee’s Collected: Certification Fee, Fee per Location (up to 2 locations on the application), Pre/Post Fees, UPDATE course materials fee

Q: What if I am already an approved Education Provider?
A:  Dearborn will provide you with your course submission materials.
